Swung by The Goat's Beard for a Saturday brunch and had a solid time. Service was nice and congenial, and the interior well decorated. The menu could have been more varied, however the brunch items we tried were certainly above average. I did think the overall prices were a bit high and I didn't love my cocktail. Wouldn't specifically come back for another meal, but would visit again if friends wanted to go.
Little bit disappointed overall in this dining experience. The food was pretty good flavor wise, but I left hungry. The ricotta appetizer was tasty but really small in portion size. The pot pie was the same, served in a shallow bowl with not a big portion for the price. We were also never asked if we wanted a dessert, I’m not even sure if there were any options. The table next to the prep area upstairs is loud and you can feel every stroke of a prep knife vibrate the table. The drinks also took forever to come up from the bar, but the waitress noticed this and comped one round. Overall the vibe of this place is cool and I’ll try again on a not-so-busy night.
This was my husband and I's 2nd time trying this restaurant! I had the Mushroom Risotto W/ Seared Salmon on top with/ the micro greens on top 🤤🤤🤤 That's all I can really say about that 😂!I literally cleaned my plate! It was so delicious! And I'm REALLY picky about Salmon and Risotto! Both were done perfectly to my taste!!!! Please thank the Chef or cook for that! And My husband had the pepperoni pizza! He liked it! I personally didn't! To me, It tasted like it was like a pizza from a freezer or from Little Caesars, The pretzel was very good as well! The Old Fashioned W,/ Cinnamon my husband and I both had were wonderful, but, they definitely could have been a little bigger for the price! $18 a piece for a very small glass that was not full and had a large ice cube which is normal for Old Fashioned, so it should have been in a larger glass, that's all I'm saying! But overall, we enjoyed our dinner and Tim our waiter was wonderful! We definitely will come back when we come back to Philly! Keep making that Salmon and Risotto 🤤 but definitely recommend a bigger glass for the Old Fashioned 😂 but they tasted great 😉
Stopped by for lunch this afternoon. We had the chicken nugget appetizer and a meat lovers pizza thing. Both items were truly fantastic (hard to pick a favorite). We sat at the bar. The bartender checked in on us to make sure our drinks were topped off. We had a beer and sangria and both were very good. This atmosphere was cozy and clean.
The menu mentions a 3% surcharge that goes straight to the kitchen, which is nice. Honestly I wish they would just raise prices by 3% as some patrons might view this surcharge negatively
First time stopping in here. Nice place with very welcoming staff. Joe behind the bar is super friendly and helpful. Great recommendations. I had the Smoke Show pizza and it was delicious and huge. They also have a great selection of bourbon on the shelf.
In the center of Manayunk is a tiny eatery—an adorable and romantic atmosphere with candles. I was informed that this establishment is well-known for its pizza, and my friend ordered some. However, I decided against having pizza because I was in the mood for a fantastic burger. Without a doubt, I would return for the cheeseburger.
Food was cold and when we asked for a starter as a side, it was still delivered 15 minutes early and was also cold when dinner finally came. Our waiter disappeared for a while after dinner to the point where we had to ask the bartender for …
Had a great brunch. Very nice atmosphere outside and very good service. Had the breakfast burger and sliders. Excellent food and the potatoes were great as well.
